ONE DAY STUDY and EXAM SESSION 

Saturday December 06, 2008

Westwood Jr. High School

Begins at 8 am with VE testing to follow. The study session will last until 

approx. 3:45 pm. All materials for the study session will be provided. The

only cost will be for the exam which is $14 

Participants will be responsible for their own lunch.

Coffee County Amateur Radio Emergency Services members provides support communications and auxiliary functions to several served agencies in the area which include, Coffee County EMA, Treis County Chapter American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Tullahoma City, Manchester City as well as TEMA and the NWS.

Amateurs in the Coffee County area are encouraged to contact the Emergency Coordinator and update their station data. CCARES, as do all ARES organizations, rely on the support of local clubs and neighboring hams to assist during times of need.

 

Amateur Radio equipment is installed in the following locations:

Coffee County EMA

Tullahoma City Hall 

Manchester Medical Center

Harton Regional Medical Center

United Regional Medical Center (COMING SOON)

 

We operate and support a packet radio BBS system which is in the process of being integrated into the WINLINK system. Callsign of the BBS is WM4CC and is on frequency 145.050.
